CONSULTATION EXTENDED:
Following community feedback our activity design has taken longer than expected. This has delayed the presentation of our environmental assessments. Therefore we have added another month to our consultation period before submission of the Environment Plan.
What we've heard so far...
Discover what we have learned through our extensive consultation process, how we have actively listened to the community, and engaged them in environmental management decision-making on our website's dedicated page.
Relevant Person Information Sessions
Information Sessions were run in Geraldton, Port Denison, Jurien Bay and Cervantes in May 2023. A pdf of the presentation slides from these sessions can be found below in our Information Summary section. If you would like to attend future sessions please subscribe to our newsletter to find out when and where we will be presenting next.
NOPSEMA - Information for the community
Under the Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage (Environment) Regulations 2009 there are several ways the community can participate in the environmental approvals process for offshore petroleum activities in Commonwealth waters. Advice to the community is provided by the regulator, the National Offshore Petroelum and Envirionmental Management Authority (NOPSEMA).
